The first day of the conference was excellent with an unparalleled reception and very well-organized. The specialized panel discussions on the “Long-term Outlook for Pistachio Production and Trade” were very useful and enlightening. I would like to express my gratitude to all of you. For future forums, I suggest the addition of a specialized panel on pesticides, IPM (Integrated Pest Management), and mycotoxins issue.
In my opinion, in such conferences, there should be some panel discussions and presentations on modern technologies in the global pistachio industry. For future forums, I suggest inviting companies who have done such initiatives to showcase and present their services or products.
As a factory specialized in manufacturing nut processing machinery in Türkiye, participating in this conference was highly desirable and impactful for me. I met a lot of people; There was a lot of networking opportunities. My recommendation to Iran Pistachio Association is to have a more prominent presence of international companies in its future forums.
